Terms of Use

Last updated: October 15, 2026

In short

  • Focus Atelier Pro comes as a monthly or a yearly subscription (the yearly plan has a 3-day free trial). It renews automatically until you cancel it in your App Store settings.
  • Focus Atelier Pro Lifetime and the critter packs are paid once and never renew.
  • Your purchases come back on another iPhone through Settings › Pro › Restore purchases.
  • Apple’s standard end user license agreement (EULA) also applies.

Acceptance and Apple’s license agreement

By downloading or using Focus Atelier, you agree to these terms. The app is licensed to you under Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA); these terms add the rules specific to the app and its purchases. If there’s a conflict about the license itself, Apple’s agreement prevails. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.

What the app is

Focus Atelier is a tool to help you focus, with a little critter that paints while your phone is set aside. It isn’t medical or psychological treatment.

Focus Atelier Pro subscriptions

Focus Atelier Pro adds focus sessions of up to 6 hours, golden paint for special decorations, optional triple paint, tags with your own names and colors, and focus charts. It’s offered as two auto-renewable subscriptions in the “Focus Atelier Pro” group, with the same benefits:

  • Monthly: renews every month.
  • Yearly: renews every year, and may start with a 3-day free trial (see below).

How billing works:

  • The price, in your local currency, is shown on the purchase screen and in the App Store before you confirm.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or at the end of the free trial if there is one.
  • The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless it’s canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
  • To manage or cancel: on your iPhone, go to Settings › your name › Subscriptions, or in the app, Settings › Pro › Manage subscription. Canceling turns off renewal; Pro stays active until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
  • If a subscription’s price goes up, Apple lets you know in advance and, when its rules require it, asks for your consent.

Free trial on the yearly plan

The yearly plan may include a 3-day free trial for people who haven’t yet used a free trial or introductory offer in this subscription group; the App Store decides who’s eligible. Nothing is charged during the trial. If you don’t cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the yearly subscription starts and is charged when the trial ends. If you buy another subscription during the trial, the unused part of the trial is forfeited.

One-time purchases: Pro Lifetime and packs

  • Focus Atelier Pro Lifetime is a one-time payment, with no renewal, that unlocks Pro for as long as the app is offered.
  • Welcome offer: at the end of the first walkthrough, the app may offer Pro Lifetime at a discount, valid for 48 hours and shown only once.
  • Critter packs (Kitty, Galaxy, Fruity and All packs) are one-time purchases of colors and hats.
  • One-time purchases are tied to your Apple Account.

If you have an active subscription and buy Pro Lifetime, cancel the subscription in your App Store settings so you aren’t charged again.

Restoring purchases

On another iPhone, or after reinstalling the app, sign in with the same Apple Account and tap Settings › Pro › Restore purchases. Pro and the packs come back. Paint, the house and the paintings aren’t purchases: they come back with the backup file (Settings › Backup).

Refunds

Payments are made to Apple, so refunds follow Apple’s rules. To request one, go to reportaproblem.apple.com. Nothing here limits the rights that consumer law in your country gives you.

Paint and in-game items

Paint, golden paint and room items have no monetary value: they can’t be exchanged for money or transferred to another person.

Your data and backup

Your progress stays on your device, and keeping a backup is your responsibility. If the app is deleted or the device is lost without a backup, your progress can’t be recovered. Purchases can be restored through the App Store. The details are in the Privacy Policy.

Art and content

The character, art, texts and sounds of Focus Atelier belong to their authors. You may not copy, sell or modify the app, its art or its texts. The font and the open-source libraries follow their own licenses (see Settings › Help › Credits in the app).

Warranty and liability

The app is provided as is. We do our best to make it work well, but we can’t guarantee it will never have bugs. To the extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for indirect losses caused by using the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law guarantees and that can’t be waived by contract.

Changes

These terms may change. The new version will appear on this page, with the updated date.
